Hey Jay, its Paul the goalie. We've started having pick-up on Sundays at Noon, down at Amboy. Come on down!

Just an aside about Sundays...

After we finished up, a group of folks came out to play floor hockey. They're trying to build up interest, and it's open to anyone who would like to participate.

The guy heading this up said he would reserve rink time around 2 or 3pm every Sunday.

I stuck around and played a bit with them...was totally winded, of course, but it was fun.

I will try and be there, at least until the league starts...

BUMP!

Just a friendly reminder that we are playing pickup on sundays at 12:00 noon. This is open to anybody and is pretty easy-going right now. Goalies are in high demand as we usually only have 1. Just make sure you wear the proper gear...don't want anyone getting hurt out there!

Hello everyone, I live about 30-45 minutes from Asheville in TN and am really hoping to play some hockey this summer with some guys. I would also love to get my son involved who is 5 years old and absolutely in love with the sport. There is no hockey league where I live, although I started one a few years back and it did well while I could attend. So, basically, if there is a time that I could show up and skate to just have fun, I'd really love to know about it. Any suggestions?!?!?!?! Thanks in advance!

Right now the times I know are Sunday mornings and Wed nights for pickup. Not sure too much about Weds as our season just ended but I think we are trying to get Wed nights going again. The rink is pretty much open whenever right now as long as the weather is cooperating as there is no organized hockey going on right now.

Sundays are pretty relaxed and it would probably be ok to get your kid involved then. I think Weds will be a little more serious.

Shoot me an email if you have any questions!
